Dr. P K C Bose is the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, of SAERTEX INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, the wholly owned subsidiary of the German Multinational, SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG., who is the world leader in advanced composite in glass, carbon and aramide, having 13 manufacturing plants and having presence over 50 countries in the world. Dr. Bose has commissioned the plant in India, independently in year 2006 and today the company has grown over many folds.

He has made a huge difference in Indian composite industry by introducing new products, technologies, process, and development in applications replacing steel and metal with advanced composites. He has introduced advanced composite (technical textile) first time in India for the most critical applications in India such as Sonar Domes, Ultra light and ballistic shelter for defence personnel in Siachen, and lining for potable and sewerage water lines. All these are first time development and use of technical textiles in India.

Dr. Bose is an Alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (India), Indian School of Buisness, India, Wharton Business School, and Kellogg School of Management, USA. He has his Ph.D from Washington International University, USA. He has also a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, M.Phil in Labour Studies and Masters Degree in Labour Management on his credit. He has 25 years of experience in the Corporate world as a successful Business Leader. Dr. Bose has been featured two times consecutively in Forbes Magazine in year 2011 and 2012. Dr. Bose is the first Indian got inducted as the Senator of Senate of Economy, Germany.

Dr. Bose is also the recipient of the prestigious “BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD 2017” from World Confederation of Business, USA, ‘OUTSTANDING ENTREPRENEUR AWARD’ of Enterprise Asia, Malaysia, CEO OF THE YEAR AWARD , by Indian Leadership Conclave, Global Excellence Award by Top Management Consortium (TMC), ‘UDYOG RATNA’ Award for excellence in all sphere of management and also he has been listed in the “Reference Asia” (Asia’s who’s who of Men & Women of Achievement). He is presently in the Board of Governors of International Association of Business Leaders Inc., USA. He is the 1st Indian being inducted in the Advisory Board of the famous University of Denver in USA.

He has published more than 50 high-end technical articles on advanced composites, applications of advanced composites, replacement of steel and metal with composites, power transmission and energy saving and more than 20 articles on management. Dr. Bose is a regular speaker in various platforms in India and abroad on light weight mobility solutions, composite world, and advancement of composites etc. He has been a frequent writer in many of the reputed Indian magazines and journals. One of his interviews published in USA by University of Texas, in Dallas has been acclaimed by many industry leaders world-wide .
